Help for Homeschool Families

Ever wonder if there is help available for homeschool families who are struggling financially? Do you know of someone who unexpectedly found themselves as single parents trying to balance the costs of homeschooling? The Home School Foundation, or HSF, is a charitable arm of the Homeschool Legal Defense Association that may be able to help. In the past, local families have benefited from the Single Parent Fund and Curriculum Fund of this nationwide foundation. HSF now offers Compassion Curriculum Grants to assist low-income families with their homeschooling needs. If you qualify for the grant funds, they may be used for curriculum, school materials, homeschool course/class tuition, school-related technology, co-op fees, and even to help with the costs of attending a program like Classical Conversations. Visit their website at www.homeschoolfoundation.org to see if your family may qualify. Not in need, but want to help others? The HSF curriculum grants are dependent upon the generous donations of families and individuals with a heart to help those in need continue on their homeschool path. The Home School Foundation is currently in the process of changing their name to HSLDA Compassion, a fitting name for their compassionate help for homeschool families.
